Any ideas how to remove? Have tried scrubbing with biological washing powder, disinfectant, febreeze and have just steam cleaned it and it still stinks. Have elderly incontinent cat

Surgical spirit is good for reducing the smell, though it is hard to get rid of completely.

get some totalcare - we had exactly the same problem. This is the only thing which we used which actually works.

Pet shops sell shampoo designed to deal with this. Works well IME but can't remember which one it was beyond a yellow bottle.
