How do I remove oil/grease from suede boots

My daughter has managed to get black oil/grease on her boots. Does anyone have any suggestions for getting rid of it?

Cool iron and tissue paper? A detergent will break up the grease, but probably ruin the suede...

Thank you , I will try ironing before I start to mess about with degreasers and detergents, which I think will spoil the suede. Mind you , it is spoilt now with big smears of black grease.........
