Roller blinds 'easily cut to size' - what exactly does that mean?

i think it means edges, but be very careful as when mil bought her house they were kindly left the blinds which had been cut to size but badly so had wonky 'saw cut' sides when you rolled them down!

We got some from John Lewis and cut the widths down - wasn't rocket science.

Get a long ruler, a sharp craft knife/scissors and a surface that you don't mind having a long score mark in it, i.e. not the dining room table.

We have cut blinds down before, I seem to recall the cut side got a bit frayed eventually. Oh, and it does mean width.
