Hi,

Finding outside utility room not such a good idea now ..

Moved in about 2 yrs ago and having a dishwasher outside is hardwork with little DS 19 months and 37wks pregnant.

My kitchen never seems clear or clean if it rains things get stacked up as cannot go out to put in dishwasher .. carrying back and forth ...

No room in kitchen for appliance without spending abit of money and DP isnt going to do that ..

Anyone same ?

You're just going to have to rip out a cupboard. There's no point in a dishwasher for all that extra work!

If your DP won't spend the money then I'm afraid the dishes become his responsibility

I might be making a odd suggestion but what about washing up in a bowl to save using it in bad weather? My kids are slightly older than yours but same age gap and we got rid of the dishwasher and manage to get the washing up done for all of us. Normally takes hubby half an hour or washing up for 6 of us and me less time.

I second ellingwomans suggestion that a cupboard has to go (into the utility) and the dishwasher has to come in or Dh gets paranoidmothers washing bowl and spends 30 mins after evening meal doing it all by hand
