I got up this morning and found a couple of scratches slap bang on the front of a rather nice (and old) piece of furniture that was left to me by a relative . I have no idea how this has magically happened, but I would very much like to get rid of them without having to pay someone to do it. Is this possible?
I've just bought some fancy furniture polish and although it darkened the scratches down, they are still most definitely there. Any and all advice welcome!
