Hello all

Glad you've had a good day mad. One day at a time and it all comes into perspective

Wendy are the Cpox calming down for you?

Hugs a plenty to everyone else.

I've had a lovely day. We (me, DH and Ed) went to the rare breeds farn at a local stately home. Ed got to feed the sheep, say 'baa-baa' to the lambs and gobble at the turkeys. DH did a picnic and we sat ib the grass scoffing it.Lots of fresh air, lots of walking and I'm rather sleepy now

I think I should take a nap now Xmas Wink

Hello again all

I have had a wonderful day today - have done nothing special really, just a family day and TBH I am feeling so thankful that I have been given the chance to spend this time with them all.

DH cut the lawns
Put up goal post (£3 bargain in Tesco)
Played football - I refereed
Walked round the block again with the boys on their bike
Read the sunday papers
Cooked dinner
DH collected mum - she is staying the night to help with the boys, although she is not really in top form herslef

So all in all a very special day for me, as I feel better than yesterday and I havent been able to say that for well over a month

I'm so glad you are feeling so positive Mad, good luck tomorrow
grouchy where is this Rare Breeds Farm?
wolf I love the theatre but dh not so keen - perhaps we could go together sometime
EHM thanks for the recommendation
galen glad cake turned out well.

I am feeling slightly better. have been up and dressed all day except for an hour's nap, although I haven't done a great deal. But called my parents who came round here so I could go to the new house with DH and DS (DD was asleep - she slept for 6 hours in a block!!) It was lovely to go round, I pottered in the garden, sorted out the bins which they'd left overflowing and in a state and generally took it in a bit. I'm very excited, when the pox clears I can go out and buy bits etc but til then I will just potter. Luckily we have time! FIL (who is an electrician) and DH are sorting out all the sockets, adding more, sinking into walls etc before we do anything else, then cleaning then painting then moving in!!!

DD is so spotty it's untrue, she has it really really bad. Poor thing, she is poorly. My spots are still there but no new ones, and lots seem to have shrunk and faded as they have been zapped by the anti virals. Phew. Thanks EV for the advice as it was that which decided me into going to the walk in centre and persuading the prescribing nurse to give me the anti virals. Looks like I'm getting off lightly as far as adult chicken pox is concerned - a horrid affair.

Well won't be on again today so see you tomorrow.

EustaciaVye · 05/04/2009 20:33

wendy - I didnt get dressed for nearly a week when I had the pox so you are doing well
