quick query re: miele cat and dog

Having read all the recs on here I think I'm going to invest in a miele.

Does it work well on hard floors - we have wooden floors downstairs but carpet upstairs.

Do you need a different attachment for hard floors?

We use ours on hard floors as well as carpets. You can't use the turbo head on wood floors as it can scratch them, but they provide another head when you buy it for doing hard floors, as well as various other attachments for doing the furniture etc. Get one they are great!

OMG - I've just got it home and its amazing - I've never seen my carpets so clean

I'm normally such a slattern but this may change my life

I love mine, turbohead is great for getting carpets looking really clean. DH used the turbohead on the laminate though and it did scratch so do remember to change it before you do the wooden floors
