URGENT - curtains fallen down, what do I do?

The whole lot has come down, narrowly missing my head.

What can i do to black the windows as I can't get it put back up today and don't think newspaper will be dark enough.

I might have some of that, not sure, we have 10ft wide windows so we'll need alot

we had card the first night we moved in (big windows too).

we also nailed a blanket in the windows in the bedrooms (nice!) did the job though.

Towels work quite well, esp if they're a dark colour. Pin them straight to the window frame (if wooden) using pins or tacks. We did this the first night in our new house when we moved and it worked a treat.
