Help! Superglue on laminate worktop

Any ideas how to remove this as my kitchen worktop is covered in superglue and looks so awful. It had dried before i realised it was there! Kitchen is only 1 year old so could not possibly afford to renew worktop!

You can get super glue remover.

when i got my fingers superglued together and the tube also superglued ONTO my fingers (dont ask ) at A&E they said the thing to get it off was lots and lots and lots of water....

an hour later after being held under the running cold tap continuosly my fingers un-stuck and several baths later all the glue remains were off....

so maybe soaking it in water (perhaps a saturated sponge?) may help
