I need a new mop.

I used to have a traditional string mop and plastic bucket. Cleaning power was fab...used to leave teh flor a tad wet though and my bucket pust under the pressure of wringing out.

I now have one of these magic mops. Leaves the floor abit drier but....I just doesn't satisy me.

Any recommendations? A Vileda supermop any good or should I just go back to a traditional string mop with a better bucket?

get down on your knees and scrub . i have a magic mop but never use it now.

normal floor wipes are the easiest thing to use.

though you may have a massive floor

SlightlyMadScotland · 20/03/2009 20:34

Erm no not massive.

But I don't like crawling.

I like this chappy here
Wrings out quite well for all your not-too-wet floor cleaning needs.

I've got one of these with a matching bucket It works well - I like the extra scrubby bits at the top for attacking marks.

poshwellies · 20/03/2009 20:47

I use this one,it's pretty good

But I agree,I do tend to get on my hands on knees and scrub if very filthy, mops never get in the corners properly imo.

I do get down with a scrubbing brush for spot marks...but I don't do the whole floor on my hands and knees

I've got one of these. When it is dry, it can't be used for anything (potential weapon maybe? ), but once wet or damp it is fabulous!!
