i bought ecoballs a good few months ago and although you dont get that washing powder smell off the clothes, i did still think they were cleaning my clothes, not great with whites and a few stains not removed but i thought otherwise they were fine, then i had to use asda bio washing powder in a wash as it was really mucky stuff and i popped in a colour catcher, clothes washed brilliant and the catcher had lots of colour on it. so i continued to use a catcher in my wash with the ecoballs but there was no colour on it after the wash. sooo... does this mean eco balls arent really getting the dirt out of the clothes aswell or does it mean it just isnt taking the colour out but just the dirt. sorry this is so long. but im ready to throw them in the bin if theyre not doing anything.

Bump, I would be interested in knowing this too!

Mine went in the cupboard.
I used them with a smaller amount of washing powder but just not satisfactory for me.

Think I'll get them out again and use them for not-so dirty just worn washes and use powder for my oh-my god is this glue/glitter/mud/poo type washes and white washes.

I thought they were brill for about 5 washes, then it all started to look a bit unclean, particularly as DS is pretty exuberant in her painting, gardening, cooking, anything type games... so mine were filed (in the bin, but now I think about it, they should be recyclable really)
