horrible toilet stain query?

do you get horrible brown stains around the hinges of the seat ?

I am guessing this is from male wee in particular and have had ongoing arguement with dh and ds about this.

Us girls are not responsible for that are we??

I'm sure you're right. It is entirely due to poorly aiming males. I have the very same issue on ours. My mum says she's never seen anything like it- but she has 4 daughters and apparently my dad is very good about wiping up sprinkles.

My aunt is famous for banning her sons from peeing standing up until they learned to aim properly/wipe up. I guess this tactic would only work if you are as fierce as her though!
