EHM he wasn't the famous Prof W was he? I remember the fc I saw was called very grandly MR.

EHM · 19/03/2009 09:24

swan very impressive list ggod luck. No Wasn't Prof Win, it was Prof Craft. THen we where helped by a wonderful Mr Tayob. Who is called Mr T by his fan club & staff/consultants. He delivered Ellie. After we where helped by the equally wonderful Prof Campbell & Geeta Nargund.

Sorry for the ramblings

galen · 19/03/2009 09:46

Morning all
mad hope you can get the pain under control
swan good luck with cake and party!
dyls thanks for thread
EHM hope youre feeling better soon
prof enjoy coffee!
tiger enjoy toddlers!
wendy enjoy soft play!
sag sounding very organised - well done

Not in top form here today... feeling a bit overwhelmed and despairing.....on reflection stopping my antiD's appears not to have been the right decision so have restarted....will now have to go through yucky starting up side effects again... but hey - will hopefully return to calm , in control mummy LOL
As a result am planning on taking it easy today....essential tasks only, and hopefully a bit of garden/sunshine time.
Am going to take DC out somewhere after school.... park, playground, long walk etc.... and aim to have a PLEASANT evening...
Will have dinner in slow cooker waiting for our return!

So to do:
Sort dinner - next
Bathroom S&S
quick tidy all round
hoover lounge
washing hang out when finished
Fun time in garden!
Sort snack to bring for after school adventure!

right DD4 shouting for me... must dash! BBL

swanriver · 19/03/2009 09:46

EHM sounds like a wonderful team. My little ones were all IVF concieved, I think I must have blanked everything out except the baby.
Anyway I must GO. now in work clothes looking purposeful.

swanriver · 19/03/2009 09:59

Oh Galen, I know that feeling, except that don't think I ever got to calm in control bit.

It's such a horrible feeling isn't it, everyone bombarding you with their afterschool emotions and just wanting to hide/cry/scream. (Maybe you are not as bad as me)..and thinking this is not what I wanted things to be like...
I think it's a bit mean when schools suggest things for parents to do which don't include younger siblings. But still console yourself with the fact that dd3 gets so much out of having all those younger siblings. My dd is constantly pining for younger sisters/brothers, don't quite know why as she is always arguing with the ones she has.

scattyspice · 19/03/2009 12:54

Hi all.

Mad - Don't try to stretch your arms any higher that sounds fine, wounds need time to heal. Do you see a Breast care nurse? She will advise.

Dyl/EHM - Eye cream hasn't knocked 10yrs off () but did feel very zingy this morning . Its normally £15 (I paid £6) I don't know if I would pay full price for it . I will report back after a few days.

Prof - have a good coffee .

Shannara - Enjoy toddlers .

Wendy/Saga - Top marks for being organised types .

Wolf - hope you got home ok.

swan - good luck with the pary .

Galen - take care of yourself .

Today:
DS wants to do something exciting
DD wants to buy chewing gum .
clean bathroom
make haircut appt - dc
laundry
ds homework
post MD cards

dw unloaded reloaded and on, bit of unpacking done and ds played with and cuddled
before nursery drop off

TheMadHouse · 19/03/2009 13:21

Afternoon all

Wolf It is hard, DS2 is like velcro boy with me at the moment - glad you are back OK

galen Thats the rub with AD's they fool you into thinking you are OK I am still taking mine - I am sure they are what is getting me though all this shit TBH

EHM Text or ring when you arrive - I would love to meet, could do with some adult non worrying company

Waves to everyone else.

Both CS's are going to the GP's at 3.10 as they are still not right running high temps, swollen toncils and DS2 is being a stroppy sod

I am also going to ring the hospital regarding my breakthough pain, as it is getting me down a bit, but only a bit

Mum has done all the ironing

I have polished my bedroom, cleaned the bathroom and ensuite and am going to polish the boys rooms - I am taking it easy, but it makes me feel useful. I can not sit and do nothing

wendyrednoseredhair · 19/03/2009 13:40

Mad please take it even easier than easy - you don't want any set backs
Wolf hope you're ok, sure ds will be fine in a few days' time
galen poor you, hang on in there til antiDs work again . you've had a tough week with the business with the car, and a tough month with the illness of your FIL.
scatty hope you have an exciting afternoon
swan how much screen time today? hope to see you back later? how is it going, anyway? any brain surgeons yet?
dyls thanks for links and thread hope your hair cut is good!
saga beautiful day has here turned horrid, how about you?
EHM hope the trotting to the loo has subsided!
Prof your new name is an endless source of new discussion! hope your coffee was good

A good time was had at soft play and a good natter for me and my friend. I am just beginning to feel I have settled into my life here (it's 15 months since we moved from 100 miles away) and have a few people I can definitely call friends rather than just acquaintances ifykwim. DS watching Thomas the tank DVD and DD napping, I am meant to be washing up, tidying kitchen and making the dinner oops better get on with it. Mothers' Day cards later for grandmothers, and probably just play in the house I think.

BBL have good afternoons

grouchyoscar · 19/03/2009 14:05

Hello to ALL

Again, apologies for being a poor FLYfriend (again) but I have been so very busy recently. So i'll wish you all good health and a bit of peace.

I will catch up when I get chance. Well done Ellie on the poo. Congrats to TMH on the anniversary, take it super easy please. Welcome home Wolf and Grouchy waves to everybody else.

I have bought this week's grocery shopping I know it's not much but I do feel I have managed to contribute to the household while DH is between contracts. Yeah, pathetic but I'm rather proud of myself on that one. Makes my hard work seem worthwhile.

Going to collect Ed soon so I better vac the carpet. TTFN

grouchyoscar · 19/03/2009 17:20
