scatty I'am always bumping into one of our Lady Dr's. She hasn't done smear thankfully. But she has checked both my boobies
I haven't seen tort around foe ages either. I wonder if Bianca has been in touch with her?
galen hope you are in less pain today.
TMH hope you had a good nights rest.

Right Day 5 of Poo watch still no sign. DD told me this morning that baby poo is trapped I said he may want to go swimming in the sea with his little friends. DD's answer 'he wants his Mummy' I said to let him go swimming & he will see all his friends & his mummy. Not sure I've said the right things She just giggle jumped off toilet & congratulated herself of the wee she had done

Off to get dd ready, I am showered & dressed before dh went to work. Washing on line, another load in WM. DW on & bathroom cleaned & beds made. looking pretty good this morning after top to bottom clean yesterday. still need to get into the garden.
run errands & sort out stuff for ebay.

Have a great day all.xxx

EHM · 18/03/2009 08:31

prof its only a car & no one was hurt. It will look just the same once its fixed. Although you may feel different & the shock of the crash takes its time. A bit of therapy
shopping never hurts.

Oh sorry scatty meant to say enjoy avon sale!

swanriver · 18/03/2009 09:54

Hello.
Poo watch is agonising isn't it EHM. I think they know their own mind on this one alas. (warm water diluted) hot chocolate for breakfast can help!

Beautiful morning here, I've been sweeping the front path and dispatching the kerbside recycling, rubbish etc.
Otherwise feeling tired/tummyache this morning, and ds2 is still at home with his virus - not vomiting or feverish tho, just a bit weak.

List
hoover playroom still not done
unload dw
make cake for dd's birthday party on Thurs
ds2 a bit of homework
what's for supper baked potatoes and tuna sweetcorn
change our bed
ironing

then school pickup
homework with other two
take dd to Brownies for first time
help at Beavers (leave ds2 at home)

Mrs Choux - I've always wanted to buy a set of very smart old fashioned china (possibly from junk shop) for special occasions. For some reason all my marital china (blue and white in varying designs)is in constant use, doesn't quite match and never enough cereal bowls. I remember being so excited as a child when we used the BEST plates for birthdays and other festivities.

BBTHURS as today a bit busy I think.

swanriver · 18/03/2009 10:03

Dh is making me crosser and crosser (despite being an angel this morning and taking the dcs to school - what am I complaining about) He launched into long rant yesterday about the iniquity of Mother's Day, commercial opportunity etc, when did he ever get looked after etc, told he was wonderful? Had to show him two books on Christian Festivals which proved it is a LENTEN feast not just invented by card manufacturers.

Hello

I've been terrible at keeping in touch with Tort lately I just don't manage to turn the laptop on in the eves to chat on MSN (terrible evening migranes lately ) so am really missing catching up with her...I'll text in a mo and see how she is

Thanks for the thread Dyls
Poor dd EV hope the girls are better soon x
@ poo watch EHM! Poor dd though, has she got tummy ache or is she OK otherwise?
@ your dh swan - mine is good about Mother's day although we have lost out with MiL this year as dh only rang to invite her over on Sunday yesterday which was too late as his sister had already invited her to theirs - we were told we should have asked sooner! We (or rather I) seem to have lost favour big time with MiL but I have no real idea what I've done so I'm not too disappointed tbh.... Hope you feel better soon x
Prof Hello love the new name!

I had a great tidy up yesterday in the spare room I have made good use of the space under the bed mind you and stashed a lots of stuff out of sight under there I have a small cupboard and a little chest of drawers to look though at some point but prob not today as I have to do some work today.
Back later if I can x

EustaciaVye · 18/03/2009 10:57

well done dylsmum. See, its not actually that big a list is it

DD1 curled under blanket on sofa. DD2 v smelly.....EV wanders off to change nappy.

TheMadHouse · 18/03/2009 12:47

Afternoon all

Tis my 14 wedding aniversary today , we are all off for a dinner time meal with mum.

Microwave departed to the electronics heaven last night, so will also need to get a new one and some small vests for me too.

DS2 is napping and really not himslef at all. Me going back into hospital has effected him big style - he is like a velcro boy at the moment. He wakes in the night and instead of going back to sleep comes in to check I am still there not sure how to move foward on that one.

EV hmm with the poo - make sure you keep her hydrated and try a little lactelose to keep things soft, otherwise it is going to hurt when it does come.

Swan DH is good regarding mothering sunday. I bought the mums/mil stuff prior to going in to hospital

Ruby Kitchen things how lovley

Dyles well done on the assignments

Scatty Avon doesnt agree with me, not much does, not even implants Do you have any suggestions regarding excercises for after a mastectomy. My skin is really tight and lifting my arms is tough work

EV DS2 has spots all over his face too. Hppe DD is better soon

Bianca Hope you and yours are well - sorry about the headaches

EHM · 18/03/2009 13:19

Poo Watch is over! Sadly it was in her pants a preschool. They knew I was worried that they phoned me to tell me the good news. Very Large solid poo. So little warm water, small amounts of fruit juice/hot chocolate. To avoid again.

TMH Happy Anniversary. Poor ds2 I am sure he will be fine in a little while.
bianca sounds like yesterday was really productive. DD wasn't complaining appear ok. But tummy was rather big.sorry to rad about migrains. MIL who would have them
swan dh does he think the same about fathers day when its his turn? oops I see dyls has asked the same I too have always wanted to buy best china tea set. I promised my Nan that when I grew up I would buy her one. I did before she dies buy 6 very small china tea cups & saucers from a care boot sale. she loved them & my mum gave then to me when she died.
dylsimpressive list.
galen glad to hear that pain is better.

Right off to park with friend & her little girl. Its lovely & sunny here!!!!!!

DD2 has refused to go to my friend(neighbour) this afternoon. She goes every week and I was hoping to give dd1 some tlc. I have given them both medicine now.

wendyrednoseredhair · 18/03/2009 16:12

hi everyone just dashing in - have a bad head today and everything an effort.
Just snipping out some cards to do crafty picture frames for MIL/mother for mother's day.
see you all later - have read thread but no time for replies Only to say I love best china - especially retro type Hornsea pottery or similar - have several sets of cups and saucers (I nearly always drink my tea out of a cup and saucer )

sagacious · 18/03/2009 16:15

Hi all

Have done ironing (am up to date )

BiancaCastafiore · 18/03/2009 16:45

Happy anniversary TMH

Congrats on the ironing saga

And congrats to dd on the poo EHM !

Hope your day is going OK EV and that the girls feel better soon x

I've done nothing much to the house today but have done some photography for work which will be on our website soon

The window cleaners turned up this morning and commented on how much tidier our spare room is from the last time they came I always hoped window cleaners didn't notice things like that _ they only come once every 3 months!

We've been to the park since school and had a lovely time

Parents evening tonignt.....

grouchyoscar · 18/03/2009 16:53

scattyspice · 18/03/2009 19:08

Hi all.

Have done very little. Bought some lovely eyecream at Avon sale for massive eyebags! I will be wideawake by tomorrow (on the outside anyway lol).

Happy aniversary Mad. Keep strtching your arms up above your head and out to the side so that you don't loose range at your shoulders (very gently though, nothing vigorous and NO BOUNCING lol). The scars will take about 6wks to heal. You sound great though .

Well done on the poo Ellie .

BB tomorrow.
