Hollo all

I am drain free - yippee and the sun is shining.

DH has hung some washing outside and me and DS2 have been playing.

DH is going out after the boys have had lunch.

I need to revise Tesco order nad do him a shopping list for Aldi, but I am feeling OK

swanriver · 17/03/2009 10:28

Did masses of gardening yesterday which was DELIGHTFUL(and homework) and no telly or computer at all [grin)
Dd in a state of grump (still jealous that her twin had his party and hers isn't till Thursday) but ds1 behaviour completely transformed by no telly
Went to fun drinks party yesterday, but unfortunately came back to throwing up ds2 in the small hours(who is now on a special reprieve watching Iceage on tiny telly in our bedroom]

Today my list goes like this.

read to and entertain ds2
write thank you notes with ds2
put some rubbish in car (not done yest)
hoover playroom (not done yest)
sort out clothes in my bedroom
iron some shirts of dh
order veg box (had enough of shopping)
write thank you note for party
ring up softplay and confirm party nos for Thurs for dd (and her friends...)
NEXT YEAR THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A JOINT PARTY WHETHER THEY WANT ONE OR NOT.

Thank goodness you don't have to brave the buses again Galen
joint pain for you, my back problem (also post dcs) has resolved again - I was really worried it was going to set in. I think posture and tummy muscles were the answer.

TMH coming to terms with operation.

EHM · 17/03/2009 10:42

TMH thats great news. You sound very positive.

I have just under 2 hours to do some house work & gardening. Have cleaned bathroom from top to bottom this morning & done ironing. Also hung out load of washing.

Have a great day all.x.x

scattyspice · 17/03/2009 12:48

Hi all.

TNH you sound like yourself again .
swan - glad the TV ban went well. Good luck with that list.
Galen - your body is trying to tell you something .
wendy - hope toddlers goes ok (I always find other peoples children far easier to manage than my own ).
Bianca, EHM - enjoy the sunshine .

I have been trying to arrange a smear test, it is impossible to find a time when the nurse is working, i am not working and DH can have the kids .

I have had more luck with the GP appt (works til 7 on Tues!) I am considering going back on the pill as currently AF lasts 14 days!!

Managed downstairs loo completely during Neighbours ad break . Will do bathroom when it finishes.

Mad - glad you are healing.

EustaciaVye · 17/03/2009 14:27

Ok. Progress means my list now looks like this:

Bathroom.
Check & clean medicine cabinet
Clean floor
Clean mirror
Clean window
Clean cobwebs off ceiling
Throw away empty bottles & add needed items to shopping list
Wash bath mat
Wash towels

Children's Bedrooms
Clean cobwebs off ceiling
Clean out the wardrobe

Turn mattresses over & change bedding
Sort out-grown clothes

I'll try and do that later. Beds are stripped but not made but I might get DH to help with me with that night.

wendyrednoseredhair · 17/03/2009 14:40

EV at you and your TV cleaning
galen no decorating today please and take it as easy as you can with 6 dc!
Mad you're amazing being so positive about it all.
Profriterole your new name is much more time consuming to type than the old one lol
Scatty i have a similar issue with my AF too, think I will try something when we have stopped ttc child 3
swan hello goodbye
Bianca good to see you today

Toddlers was fine but a bit more tiring than usual. My friend's DS has never been to a toddler group or anything, he is solely looked after by both sets of grandparents or his parents and they don't take him anywhere social - he just stays at home mostly so he was very bewildered and unsure (he knows me well, so don't think it was just me being crackers which threw him )!
anyway it made me appreciate my own gorgeous children - not that he isn't of course.

Made choc chip cookies
had pancakes for lunch
done washing up

lots still to do but going to concentrate on the children today instead of the house

EustaciaVye · 17/03/2009 14:42

TPF - love the new name. Yes it suits you. Although having just typed the acronym I dont like that so will call you Prof

wendyrednoseredhair · 17/03/2009 14:43

From one indulgence to another your names ... yes!

wendyrednoseredhair · 17/03/2009 14:45

Actually not sure which I prefer ... profiteroles or red wine!
My DH makes me profiteroles every year on our anniversary as we had them for pudding on our wedding day

Oh forgot to say we are looking at perhaps April 3rd to get our new house keys!!!!
