Like a cake stand and a sugar bowl. Where online can I find such items?

John Lewis will have them.

tchibo had them a couple of weeks ago.

Best place for this kind of thing is Ebay, search bone china tea set, you'll find loads of really 'twee' afternoon tea sets.

Or a charity shop. They quite often have full tea sets, cake stands etc.
