How do I wash this Teddy?

DS has had a funny tummy which managed to escape his nappy just as he sat on my rather large fluffy teddy next to my bed!

The Ted says surface wash only but that really isn't going to cut it. Will it be ok in the washing machine? Or should it just go into the bin without trying?

TIA

Wash as wool or delicate and it may be okay

if it's just a "normal" besr (ie doesn't have a squeak or electronic bits in it) I would just shove it in the wash as normal - all my DS's bears have survived the washing machine

Try washing it before binning it ...it'll probably be fine.

It is just a normal bear so I will try it in a minute. Is delicates, woollen or cold best and how do I dry it?

It was a present from DP for my 19th birthday which was the first birthday present he ever got me so I really want to save it somehow

I wash all my dc teddies occasionaly, I add a little softener, it makes thier bedrooms smell lovely

Just air dry it, and when its dry, buff up the fur with your hands.

DD's teddy comes up lovely after a gentle wash and a short turn in the dryer.
