Dye from tissue paper on carpet

I could weep. DD picked tissue paper off her artwork from pre-school and it ended up wet and on our cream wool carpet. I've tried vanish carpet spray but it hasn't made any difference. What else can I try?

Bump! would love to have ideas on this, as we had a similar problem caused by dye from party poppers tissue, and bubbles mixture (it was a good party though!)
