Does anyone know about combi boilers and pressure meters?

Have a Baxi megaflow HE combi boiler, just noticed that the pressure had dropped just below 0.5 so went to repressurise system. All well and good but then a few minutes later I noticed it has gone too high over the 2.5 mark, out of the green operating zone and very slightly into the red.

Will this just drop back on its own slowly or should I do something? Nothing in the user guide. Looked on net but can't see anything really.

Would bleeding the radiators bring the pressure down? Or to be on the safe side - ring your plumber!

Honestly don't know If it will rectify itself or not.

I don't have radiators as it is underfloor heating in this house. Seems to be going down very slowly though. Hopefully I haven't blown us all up

If you can bleed the system in any way then it should lower the pressure. We have had the same problem repeatedly with ours until recently, the pressure was constantly too high & we were having to bleed it at least twice a day.

It ought to level itself out though, or maybe switch off for a while & give it chance to lower itself
