Red pots for growing herbs in window

to go in my kitchen when it's decorated.

Do you think cheapy ones, painted red with gloss could look ok?

or would you splash out?

Had a look for red plant pots and they seem quite rare? (maybe I'm jut rubbish at googling )

What about spray painting them red to get a smoother finish? With red gloss paint you will probably get the brush lines but depends on whether you mind that or not?

I've used a tiny foam roller to paint some with a satin gloss before, it worked a treat I'm not sure if it'd work as well with a high gloss though.
