OK what is up with the oven and what can be done about it?

It is getting Too Hot and incinerating things no matter what the setting. ANy advice? (given that i'm already in financial crisis...)

Sounds like the thermostat is buggered broken.

What make and model?

THe make is Beko, it's a double-oven with a top small overn and grill, bigger fan oven underneath. It's the top one that's doing this.

Your oven is broken. You need an new AGA. Tell your DH.

I am amazed by the length of Aga threads on MN - they cannot all be wrong.
