Loo cleaner in the bath!

Apologies if you houseproud types have always known this, but have been bugged for some time now by a grey-ish scum on the bath. Any product I've tried has, at best, just dribbly vertical clean bits down the sides. Was going to ask on here for advice, but DH just accidentally bought H*ic limescale remover for loos instead of bath stuff, so in desperation I tried it. Fantastic. Quick wipe round and it's sparkling!!!!
Please tell me I haven't ruined the surface for ever. Although, to be honest, that's got to be better to the mess it was before.

Conversely, I've found cream cleaner does a better job in the toilet than toilet cleaner does (though it doesn't have the useful angled squirty top).

Saddo family that we are, DH and both DCs have since gone into the bathroom and said, "wow. Bath looks good."
