Do those colour catcher sheets have anything IN them?

Like chemicals or anything?

Am thinking they look identical to thick nappy liners and pondering if I can just use them and save money

Do they actually work?

akhems · 05/03/2009 13:27

I'#ve no idea what's in them but bizarrely they do work

BandMeeting · 05/03/2009 13:28

Yup, they are amazing - DS's black batman top still has yellow sleeves

I'll have to try them. I'm sceptical about anything I see advertised but I'm desperate to cut down on laundry.

Re the nappy liner you could wash something white like a muslin with something that you know loses dye.

I don't think there's anything in them, I think they've just worked out what kind of fabric suffers worst when there's loose dye in the water, and used that . So, pick a fabric you know picks up dye very easily, and use a square of that!
