Oh no! Poo on the carpet!

I will spare the gory details except to say that DD1 is potty training and rather too adept at removing her trousers and pants when my back is turned.
And out one popped.
And then she trod in it...
What to do? I have attacked the stains with lots of dettol. Is there anyhting specific I should use? Before I give up/ get a professional in/ rip up carpet...

This is likely to be the first of many unfortunately
I use lots of dettol diluted with water and then some upholstery cleaner and that normally gets rid of it all.
Poo is generally easier to get rid of than sick if that is any comfort...
