thank you SOOOOOO much for the kind words. have just cried again but this time with relief as i feel slighty less mental. swim def helped and mil helped (in her own unique mil way!)
grouchyoscar can i be so rude as to ask who is boris?
wolf well done you. am in awe of people who manage to be a mum and do other things!
EMH i have 2 bundles of very large black fur who apparently are cats but usually are either home wrecking machines or think they are human. they also have a friend who they frequently allow to sleep over despite my continually kicking it out.
jobs done in fastest time ever so managed to watch desperate housewifes before ds2 woke up. thank you for the motivation.

Jas · 05/03/2009 18:28

Evening all

DS has done alot of walking today, as I ended up with an extra in the buggy (friends ds has gone back to hospital) s I'm hoping he will sleep tonight as staying up til 10/11 is killing dd2

qumps Did you know you can use the dishwasher to sterilise bottles?Your dc are very tiny. I think I cried every day for months when mine were that little. It is so hard, and ten times worse when you are on yuor own.
I hope GO wont mind me telling you - Boris is her MS - sometimes kept in a box, sometimes taking her legs from under her.

Grouchy Thankyou, your most made me smile.

Still tiling here, need to d all the FLying I missed today due to extra 2 yr old in the house.,

galen · 05/03/2009 18:59

Evening all .
Had a terrible evening. I think I am officially the WORST mummy in the world. My little (11 month) DS2 (well actually he's REALLy big and strong for his age!)climbed/fell out of the trolley in Asda He is TOTALLY fine - only cried for a min if that , but I have sobbed on and off for the last 3 hours.
I still dont really know how it happened. He was strapped in securely ( I always do this) and I was pushing trolley round. DD1 wanted to show me something so I turned round for a second - my hand was still on the trolley , and next thing I know he'd fallen out He does lean a lot to try and pull at things on shelves so I'm guessing he just leaned too far. The strap was still done up so just shows how useles that is!I only popped into Asda to get damn yellow Tshirts for tomorrow gggrrr
I am so upset. I cant believe what a terrible mummy I am. I am soo thankful he wasnt seriously hurt but still feel totally rubbish.
No FLYing done as a result. thankfully tea was ready to go in oven so kids all fed and littlies in bed now.
Going to try and chill a bit.

Hope everyone elses evening going smoothly.

wendyredredrobin · 05/03/2009 19:12

Galen You are NOT a terrible Mummy you sound like the BEST mummy to your children. But I know how you feel it's how I felt when DD had her finger broken off . He is fine and you couldn't have helped it when he was strapped in.

Back to hosp tomorrow ho hum.

no personals sorry too tired and a bit down myself, don't know why, I'll be fine tomorrow.

DS cheeky and naughty last few days, and dd bit him on the arm (hard!) in the bath (I know how she feels ) so wondering if that chicken pox is going to catch up with him!

see you all tomorrow

wendyredredrobin · 05/03/2009 19:13

Oh did mean to say hi to qumps and stick with us, you sound like you're doing a fab job as mum to those two little ones!

swanriver · 05/03/2009 19:28

Galen, that must have made you feel very shaky, and totally grr with wretched banana day. Have had many situations similar but maybe like little monkey children they are designed to fall out of trees and survive..
I'm sure he was just frightened more than anything.

TheMadHouse · 05/03/2009 20:06

Qumps Sorry for not saying hello earlier - these lot are a fantastic not judgemental bunch and are my rock

galen accidents happen, doesnt make it any easier to deal with, but they do. You are right to be shakey, infact being like that shows how good a mum you are. Take it easy

wendy Things have been tough over the last few weeks for you. Enjoy the yoga - it seems to make a real difference for you. How is the tutoring going?

Jas I am not suprised DD is finding those hours hard

DH is going to pick up an indian. I have a real need, but no deliveries in the sticks

EHM My Smudge is my first baby, we had two cats and they were bought after I m/c twins 13 years ago and I could not part with them.

I am so loved up at the moment - strange, but true

Ruby DH said we could play pin the tassels in the booby game, blindfold, spin round three times and away we go.

TheMadHouse · 05/03/2009 20:07

Scatty I am finding the drains a bit of a pain, but know that I still need them.

Wolfcub · 05/03/2009 20:19

Evening All

am feeling a bit rough, work has taken it out of me but I am in a good good mood

swan yes that was the nightmare london trip, I am delighted it paid off

galen isn't it awful when something happens to them. To make you feel better when ds was let out of hospital I had only been on my own with him for a week (so he;d have been about 3 weeks old and all of 5lb) when a heavy bottomed whisky tumbler fell out of the top of a kitchen cupboard, I was looking round for it couldn't see anything and then looked at ds in his chair on the floor, the glass had landed bottom down on his eye-socket, I was absolutely piggin hysterical, many similar things have happened since, I can totally sympathise. Have a cuppa and take it easy, the good thing about kids is that they (usually) bounce.

grouchy tell boris to back the feck off! And Ed is great btw, I very much enjoyed meeting him he is an excellent conversationalist and he looked after Joe beautifully.

Hello ruby,

Hello mad, when you are less sore give dp a tube of lippy (or even better benetint and a paintbrush - did you know that it was invented for a stripper who wanted to perk up the colour of her nips? It also stains skin very effectively) and pick a spot, or you could practice with ruby's nipple tassles. I wish I could hike mine up an inch or two, a friend and I used to joke that when we were old (we were teenagers at the time) we would get them pierced and then have little silver chains from nipple rings over our shoulders to the back of our heels so that not only would they be pert but they would also bounce alluringly as we walked

ehm thanks for message, glad ellie is doing well. Do you happen to live anywhere near ascot?

wendy good luck at the hospital tomorrow, take it easy you need to look after you too!

Wolfcub · 05/03/2009 20:21
