I want to dye my sofa covers

can anyone recommend a good product?

They are currently a straw/gold colour and I would like them to be dark aubergine or charcoal grey. Any suggesions? I looked on the dylon website but their colour range seems limited. I have a spare set of covers that I can practice on so not too worried if it's a disaster

Hmm. I have used Dylon and I know what you mean about the colours, however you can sometimes use a combination to get the desired effect. Eg use a darkish red, then a brown or blue - you might get a nice aubergine, or it might go bright purple - it's a bit hit and miss!!

That's quite a scary thought!! I would also have to be quite specific on amounts as I think I would have to do more than one load. Surely there are other brands of dye out there???
