more dishwasher question advice please!

the spinny round thing in my dishwasher (don't know what it is called!)falls off every time we run a cycle. Any ideas why it would do that and what I can I do to stop it?

That bit on mine can be taken off to clean it - there's a sort of plastic "screw" which holds it on. Maybe if you try to take it off, make sure the connection is clean, then put it back, it might hold better? Or you might see if something is broken at least.

thanks. It always screws back on again OK and it should be clean as I put some cleaner in it yesterday. I can't seem to be able to take it off not though!

Bloody thing - it's on its last legs anyway and sometimes I wish it would just stop completely rather than hanging on!
