In our garden we have 2 poles with the pulleys for a wasing line but the previous owners took the line
Can anyone tell me how to rig a line up again so I can use it?

We have got one of these! Jolly mean and inconsiderate of the previous people to take the line

With the old one there its easy to put a new one up!

Without the old one............. a ladder maybe?

If you are renting from the council/housing association could they be persauded to bring a ladder and do it for you?

a so it isn't a case of being able to stay on the ground and feed the wire through?

Well you could..........

But to do that with mine you would need to be able to reach at least 3 metres up in the air - hence I suggested a ladder!

High up is yours - If you can reach it, cant you just feed the new line through the pulley thingy?

the pulley things can be lowered but there are 2 and wasn't sure how to feed them through!
