Excuse patheticness, I am very tired and stressed after dealing with bathroom flood/insurance companies/plumbers/painters for the last week. The last bit is tomorrow when the tiler comes to replace broken tiles and refit our shower screen.

Just took a look at screen tonight and realised that the rubber seal bit thing along the bottom of screen(that sits on the edge of the bath) is pretty manky and mouldy looking. Don't have time money or inclination to go out tomorrow and buy new screen before tiler comes. I'm sure you wonderful ladies have brilliant tip on how to get some device into tiny rubber hole and clean it out! Help!

Hi toomuchmonthatendofthemoney sorry no advice but unbelievably I just came on here to ask the same question and thought I had better have a look around first. We have an immaculate shower but slowly I can see a layer of grime appearing under the seal that I can't get to and it really annoys me! I'll be watching this thread with interest.

Slip it off the screen, stand it upright in the bath and pour bleach down the hollow part and wherever you see any mould. Let it stand for 30 mins or so - the mould will disappear.
