DD2 loves her baby Annabel and takes her everywhere

I on the other hand am no so in love with her and feels she needs a right good scrub down

anyone have any advice re this or do you think I should just bung her in the machine and hope for the best!??!

DO NOT PUT HER IN THE WASHING MACHINE!!!! I put DD's Baby Chou Chou in the machine and her eye got dislodged and was never the same! I glued it, but it gave her a kinda vacant, glass eye look and frankly DD never 'looked' at her the same again!

I'm not totally sure of the make-up of an Annabel tbh. Assuming she has soft body and hard head, I would wash her body as if you are bathing a tiny baby, but a tad more vigerously! Then use something like liquid soda chrystals on a bit of cotton wool on the hard bits!

she has 'bits' inside her too Mo!! although some children have mothers who are nice enough to put the batteries in them so that they DO the things they are designed for, I decided that DD2 loved her enough that I wouldn't bother

am considering chucking her and buying a new one if I can't scrub her up

jif, or cif or what ever its called, give her a good scrub with this and she'll look good as new.

Baby wipes.

They clean everything, in fact this is what put me off using them on my actual
baby!

even the material bit in the middle, thats the bit I'm bothered about, the rest of her wipes down no bother
