I had all the doors and windows open last night, and I thought it smelled ok. But when I came back from school run this am My house stinks everywhere.

I was only trying to melt a pouch of chocolate to dip my strawbs and banana in, think I am more gutted at not being able to eat the chocolate.

Any ideas other than fresh air for getting rid of the stink, will be very gratefully received.

Smoke's a PITA to get rid off IIRC, you may be better off calling your insurance company???

Had another idea ... one of those anti allergy ionising extractor fan things for £20?

scrooged · 25/02/2009 15:58

Ohh, that may work.

Thanks so much for your ideas.

I have today bought some Prices cooks candles

The house is definitely smelling better as I'm leaving the doors windows open as much as possible.

Thanks again
