Help - I can't get rid of the smell of sick :(

DS1 and 2 have both been ill this week

I've tried scrubbing the carpet but I can't get rid of the sicky smell. What can I use?

air the room as much as possible, all windows/doors open even if its cold

bicarbonate of soda, sprinkle on fairly generously, leave for ages, hoover out, should help

I think Tesco's have now started doing a larger pack with the cleaning stuff which works out cheaper, although I have just looked on their website and it says it's no longer available. Typical!
