smelly mop

Anyone got any tips to dry out your mop after using. Got mine out today and it smells damp and nasty because it hasn't dried properly.

put in washing machine after use and dry in the washing line?

I have a micrfibre one (a flat one) and i just put the cloth part in the washing machine so it gets washed next time machine goes on and being microfiber it comes out almost dry...

it goes on the washing line and drys with the rest of my washing.

then it goes back on the mop head clean and dry

I soak mine in bleach but replace them monthly but that's because I have dogs (I just get the cheap ones from Tesco and replace the heads)
