Is there a pin hole in the draw? If so then poke a pin/ skewer/ earing back etc into hole and it should release the draw mechanically.

If there isn't a hole there will be a way of releasing it without damaging the CD - we'll find it.

Check the back of the unit as well for a hole it will be about 1mm diameter so pretty small.

Have you turned the unit off left it to cool and turned it back on again? Sounds silly but can reboot it - in the same way as you need to with a computer every so often.

Next step would be to try a flat pallet style knife. Slide gently into the draw above the cd and twist slightly once in and pull back which may help to loosen the draw and pull it open.

If this doesn't work it will be necessary to remove a panel of the midi system to expose the inside (unplug first and if it has batteries remove these). The top or back are usually easiest - check out the screw locations.
