SPILLED RED WINE ALL OVER CARPET - HELP

just sat down to have a glass of red wine after a hellish day and i spilled the bloody thing all over my carpet. i have put salt on some of it but have run out. what else can i do?!?!? help pls! i think the carpet has a stain guard on it but it's already soaking in....

put some salt on it to get most of it out, hoover then put some white wine on it, pat and it should get most of it out

There are lots of spray carpet/upholstery cleaners you can buy - one's called Troubleshooter something I think. So relax, get what you can up with water and a towel to blot, then ignore it until you can make it to a supermarket.

WHITE WINE! pour some on and rub in then dilute with water
