SUDOCREM on a carpet, how do I get it off?

DD4 at her old trick again! I have tried to wipe it off but did not dare trying anything else in case it makes it "stick" more! Any ideas

I found wet wipes worked pretty well but our carpet was old so not too scary to start inventing solutions!

sponge off then hoover. a lot.

Carbolic soap and water, gets anything off. Find in any local DIY store

Thank you all, I will try carbolic water (since I joined Mn, my "cleaning cupboard has substancially grown, soon, there will be no stein in the world capable of resisting me!!! )
