wendy enjoy your visit. I am was supposed to be visiting my friend with her baby girl today. Unfortunately Ellie very unsettled & hot during the night. Cheeks still very read. so thought best not to visit.

mad We have kingsized bed, and really notice the difference when we sleep in double. Its also great when ellie wants to snuggle. Sorry to read about the Op in May. I agree 1 Op at a time.
greyskull we had lots of snow last night too.Thankfully it had cleared by the early hours of this morning.

Not sure what we will all do today.... need to get some frsh air, but will see how DD is in a bit

Thanks for thread EHM sorry to hear you had a busy night with your little one. Snow here is thick on grass and pavement but road is quite clear, but the council are nearly out of grit so they are only gritting the main A roads. It was lovely walking to the pub last night in the thick snow.

Shannara hope your meds balance out soon, it must be difficult for you when things aren't right.

Galen sorry you were up in the night with DD4 hope she is feeling better today. I really like inset days, feels like playing truant from school - we tend to have pj days

enjoyed the night out last night being able to walk to the pub is great.
have foolishly taken another cake order for next weekend so my chilled out half term is now a bit manic. does anyone have a 10 year old daughter? what would she like for a cake. It is a joint 10th & 40th cake

dd was sick twice before she went to sleep last night, was very strange as she not ill in anyway she was sicnging and palying with her teddies both before and immediately after. she has woken up and asked for breakfast.

we bought a kingsize bed for christmas - it is brilliant, doesn't stop ds taking up all the room when he gets in with us though.

Morning all, thanks for all being lovely yesterday, he was sick again last night really need to curl up and sleep today but going away tomorrow and not started getting ready plus house a mess.

Greyskull - I went to our local pub last night too!
feel tired today...(red wine) esp as lots of school mufti day sartorial decisions (they go in their own clothes and pay a £ - a bit of a underhand money spinner if you ask me but still..)
Getting them to take responsibility grrr. Already irate at ds1 this morning about teeth, swimming bag, finishing tiny bit of homework, putting pjs back in bedroom. And I still ended up carrying swimming bag to school for him because otherwise he would have forgotten it!!!He will help me if I ask him with bins etc, but never thinks ahead...
Dd on the other hand has ALREADY packed her bag for weekend away.
TMH. We have superkingsized bed, because I got measurements (ft and inches confused me)wrong, and it only just fitted in our bedroom. It fits two kids and two parents, third kid always falls out. Luckily 2/3 are v good sleepers and stay in own beds.

EHM, Galen, and Dyslmum, hope your dds feel better today. EHM, is there something called slapped cheek or parvovirus which makes cheeks red ?- you are quite right not to visit friend.
Wendy, enjoy baby visiting today. I love them vvlittle. Miss everything about them except sleep dep.

Poor you Dame, I am also feeling that panicky feeling that comes with getting ready to go away, AND I have whole day to organise so it shouldn't be that hard.

swan we weren't trying as dp has banned more babies until I get promoted but we accidentally had unprotected sex on a very good conception day - which is exactly how I ended up with DS1 so I was secretly hopeful.

tell him your happiness depends on another baby. there is never a right time, contrary to govt guidelines.

Me and dp are definately in agreement on no more babies. Went and got the implant fitted yesterday morning, arm's abit bruised but will last for 3 years so no baby worries.

Friend turned up at 10 o'clock so not much FLYing done. As DD is having an inset day and it's lovely and sunny we're off into town soon to buy school shoes and then off to the park.

Blitzed kitchen and mopped downstairs this morning while DD2 at preschool. (Can you tell I have people coming tomorrow?) Done hallway and downstairs loo too. Cant do living room hoovering as DD sleeping on sofa.

Have bought card and lottery ticket (we dont normally do them) for DH for valentines.
