Slow cooker - quick question

My son says that when I use my slow cooker, it tastes funny. I have noticed it too, but it doesn't bother me. I wash it thoroughly after use.......Anyone else experienced this and any cure at all?

sorry no, always yummy IME (but you do have to watch the seasoning as the liquid doesn't evaporate as much IYKWIM).

What sort of funny taste? I've never noticed anything on mine and we use it at least once a week. Is yours a ceramic pot or made of something different?

Ceramic pot. Its hard to describe. Its nothing really awful, just that all the food tastes really samey. Lamb, Beef, mince whatever. Maybe I just need to season more?
