Swiffer SOS

After living with the manky 1970s carpets we inherited with the house for far too long we finally have our new oak flooring fitted.

Having searched the archives (this was before the new-look site launch ) the consensus on cleaning appeared to be a Swiffer. And the bloke who fitted the floor said the same. I did that classic "Oh yes, that's what Mumsnet erm a colleague suggested" thing

However, not in Tesco online, not in John Lewis and the only google links seem to lead to Ebay listings coming from the US. Can you still get Swiffers in the UK?!?

Dont know , but poundland do microfiber floor clothes that are on elastic that fits brilliant over the swiffer , and you can wash and reuse them!

Swiffer WetJet is known as Flash Powermop in the UK.
