Am very tempted because my the one my son uses doesn't smell too good either that or put it in dishwasher

Usual washing with hot soapy water does not seem to eradicate the odour.

I put the DC's ones in the washing machine.

(the the character ones with zip up/velcro closing)

Yep, I do every week.

BBBee · 01/02/2009 19:49

yup

JackBauer · 01/02/2009 19:50

I thought you meant a packed lunch bag.
Surely the sandwiches would go all soggy?

sorry

Hassled · 01/02/2009 19:50

Yup. But don't be inspired to tumble dry it - plastic lining of mine is now a complete state. But at least it's clean.

roffle at Jack - that was my first thought too
But in answer to the OP, yes, I put the dc's lunchbags in the waching machine every halfterm adn school holiday. Then on teh line or in teh airing cupboard to dry.
Never a problem

Yes, I have done.

I wash the DDs every couple of weeks on a cold wash and either line dry or hang on the radiator.

sincitylover · 01/02/2009 21:17

ROFL JB ISWYM but surely (for pedants) that would be a sandwich bag. It is bag and not a box.

Anyway I have put it in the washing machine and we'll see.
