It is fabric, dry clean in situ only and despite being scotchguarded, the very watery vomit has soaked in (tmi I know). Have just blotted with cool water with a tiny bit of upholstery cleaner in it and hoping for best.

However it still smells. Any ideas? Will getting a professional cleaner in be the only answer?

Just sprinkle it on to the damp fabric, or do I wait for it to dry. In fact some of it is dry now actually.

It doesn't stain does it? The bicarb, not the vomit.

Thanks.
