I'm not sure, it's along time since I went, but, I THINK it's about £5.00 per load. I know it's quite expensive now.

hunnybun1981 · 28/01/2009 15:57

would you get a black bag in one load?

it would be worth it but still cant afford to much tbh

If I can remember rightly 1 bin bag may be a load, or possible 1 1/2 bags.

It's about £5 for the big machines (the ones you can put duvets in) but you may have to split the load for drying.

would i have to stand and do it myself, or can i get one of the ladies to do it for me, only bcus it would take hours i would imagine.

A service wash would cost a bit more but probably worth it. I've been known to set the machines on and nip home . Or take a good book!

Actually you might want to check taht you can just use the dryers and not do the wash there. Some launderettes don't like it.

its £4.40 ( 1 washing basket full, large ikea bag) for a large load £3.30 for medium and £ 3.00 for small. take your own soap and remember it needs more ( 1 small box for me). the dryer is £1 for twenty mins. a large load generally needs about 40 mins.
hope this helps. my washing machine has just been fixed after 2 weeks of launderettes!

Just to dry in the one near me it is 20p for 3 minutes, I seem to be able to dry a load with £1.20, depending if theres lots of jeans or towels in there. I love it, sit and have a natter, wouldn't wash there though, £3/4/5 a load dependant on size of machine.

I asked the lady how much a service wash and dry was and she said £12, not sure how much that was for though, maybe 2 loads?
