I'm looking at updating my coffee cups and saucers (and prob milk jug and sugar bowl). I have looked at this so far.....

I am after something in white plus a colour - I find white to be too clinical.

TIA everyone!

how about this?

I'm impressed you have separate coffee cups and saucers. Its mugs or nothing in our house!

bellavita · 24/01/2009 15:13

I have separate too .

If I have a friend in for coffee, then they will get a mug.

If I am entertaining ie. dinner party type thing or a family sunday lunch, then nice cups and saucers.

How about these
You can also get them in shades of coffee
I also love these and I saw these in John Lewis in a boxed set of coloured espresso cups, although they don't seem to have them online.

I am ever so slightly obsessed with espresso cups...

They are all lovely Jules.

I have an every day sort of set that I got many years ago from Habitat as a leaving present from my lovely boss at work.

A set that my Grandma gave me which I think is from the 1930's on my 21st birthday - which comes with sugar bowl, milk jug and a coffee pot.

And a Royal Doulton set that my Grandad had bought for my other Grandma many many years ago and she had never used it.

Thanks everyone - I ended up in a House of Fraser this afternoon and got some Wedgwood Sarah's Garden cups and saucers in the sale like so:

I have some of the dinner service already so thought these would be a good addition.

I'll wait a few months and perhaps get myself into Heals though..... ;)
