Urine stains on mattress

My DS of 4.3 is dry at night... well, most nights. Last night I forgot to put a night time mat under the sheet and he wet himself while in our bed. I now have a huge, wet, smelly urine patch on our bed.

Any idea how I can sort it out???

no, but i'd like to know too!! DS's diaper regularly leaks all over our bed.

that's how the stains started with us! leaking nappies!
then YAY! out of nappies at night. his choice, but for the past week he has regressed unfortunately

let's hope a Wise One comes along soon, purps!

I think its bicarb isn't it? Pour it over the stain, wait for it to dry then hoover?

Or is it scrub with a mild bleach solution first?
