Tip-ex on dds uniform Help!!!!

My DD aged 9, came home today with tip-ex all down the front of her pinafore. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Thanks

i had this a few years back when the end came off my tippex pen and spilt tippex all over my skirt, the schol table and brand new school carpet...

anyway i got home and tried all sorts.... vanish , soaking etc, and neat washing liquid and hit washes etc...

in the end i think it was white spirit that got it off (i tried several of the chemaiclas in my dads garage, much to his unamusement!), but i think it was the white spirit that removed it and the next day i wore the same skirt to school

i think it must have had 4 or 5 wash cycles that night while i tried everything though!!

White spirit has certainly saved me from paint (same kind of thing as Tippex, I think) disasters in the past. It wasn't a perfect solution but it definitely helped to fade white paint on a rug.
