How much does a lauderette cost for the use of a washing machine?

I need to wash some Ikea cushion covers - they fit in my machine - just but don't wash well. I was thinking of trying the launderette to see if they come cleaner if they have a bit more room to move in a bigger machine.

How much does it cost (non London)? Is it a fixed price per machine or will it differ based on what cycle I use?

Not sure about the cost . . . been a while since we had to use a launderette. We never sat & waited though (well I never did), used to nip to the pub for a couple while it washed then go back to get it out. Although more often than not the lovely lady who ran the launderette would ave taken it out & folded it for us
