Fridge freezer doing weird things.

Please help.

We have a Zanussi fridge freezer. But atm it doesn't seem to be keeping food cold. The freezer is still working but nothing in the fridge is really cold inspite of the fact it's turned as low as it can go. There is also no noise from the motor. But what confuses me is that afaik the motor creates the cold for both the freezer and the fridge. So if one isn't working how is the other?

Anyone got experience of this?

not very helpful but when ours went after a flood it was just the freezer that didn't work. The fride part worked fine.

We had to claim on the insurance for it because there was nothing they could do to repair it

On the plus side they gave us nearly a grand for a knackered second hand fridge that we didn't pay for & the cooker which was also second hand & not paid for by us.
