Anything will do, so long as it's not going to look shocking!

thanks

Mine were from IKEA - really cheap too!

good thinking, will have a virtual browse in a mo & send my dad a list for next time he goes. Thanks Rupert

Check out Lakeland who always have good stuff (ask for a catalogue as easier to browse.

IKEA also for good cheap stylish storage.

Habitat have really nice ones. Cargo also does something similar.

I like Kilner (really for jam etc)

Also I use large recycled, eg the big jars with roasted red peppers in them, from places like Lidl

thanks moondog, not sure I have the budget for Lakeland at the mo . . . it's a virtual browse only for me of their site.

Just fancied something new since we've the whole house to decorate

ditto ikea.
one for rice, pasta, spaghetti, cous cous and now one for risotto rice - getting ridiculous really!
but great!

twoluvlykids, they'd be more along my lines if they're what I think they are . . . the ones with the really stiff clip type thing on top to keep them airtight?

yes that's kilner. mine are round, 2 sizes, but I think they are also available in squares, which is better/neater on a shelf

I think there's somewhere in town that sells those, will pop in on Tuesday & have a look. Thanks
