nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 10/01/2009 13:23

was it an accident or did you throw it in a temper? - if it was the later it will be harder to get out and make you more riled

wipe off with kitchen towel and then put fairy liquid on them neat and rinse in warmish water - not hot. Then wash at 30 with bio powder/liquid I reckon.

hobbgoblin - good advice re fairy liquid.

My boss at work took out a bin bag which was full of food/grease and it leaked, brushing against his trousers. There was grease literally all down one side. His wife just poured neat fairy on them rubbed it in and put them in the washing machine. It all came out.

I did a silly thing this am - its all my dogs fault (ive posted about it in AIBU), but the butter was rock 'ard, so i thought i would put it on the radiator to warm it a bit - i do this a bit, i just plonk it straight on the curtain - but this morning, there was no bread (or so i thought ) and i clean forgot about the butter - came home from DDs ballet with the vile smell of melted butter permeating through the house - all of it, melted into my curtains - yuck
