paper peeling in ensuite

title says it all, dunno why but my landlord papered the walls in my ensuite (before i moved in) ive been here 3 years and the paper has suddenly started peeling off the wall that separates mine and next doors house. there is an extractor fan in the ensuite but no window as it is between two bedrooms and the airing cupboard. im going to have to strip the paper and paint but is there anything i can do to prevent other walls doing this? if not i imagine it could be quite costly to redo every few years in a rented house.

I assume it's happening because of condensation from the shower/bath? Its a bit tricky as its not as if you can open a window to let the steam out is it?
Could you leave the ensuite door open when you shower? At least then the steam wont be concentrated in the one room.
You can get dehumidifiers but I think they're quite expensive.
Could you explain what's happening to the landlord and maybe he'll put a better extractor in? Really its up to him to sort it out.

the door stays open 24 hours a day, even when im showering, ive always done this as i imagined this could become a problem (having no window). i also leave my bedroom indows open as much as i can, and the bedroom door is usually open to the rest of the house. i think im just going to have to ring him and ask him to do something.
